Q: I re-launched FilePath, how do I know if I have the updated version?
A: If in the FilePath menu the "About" dialog is v2.0.0 or higher. If there is no "About" dialog you do not have the latest version and should exit and re-launch FilePath.
Q: I have a truly headless system, with no window management interface at all. How do I configure FilePath
A: FilePath can be configured via settings in a custom properties file. Please contact support@pathagility.com for all the details.
Q: When I launch FilePath I get an "Unknown Developer" or "Untrusted Developer" dialog. What is going on? Is it safe to run FilePath?
A: Yes, FilePath is safe to run. The FilePath program has been cryptographically signed by Pathagility using a certificate issued globally trusted certificate authority. Your system will cryptographically verify that the FilePath you are running is the FilePath program that Pathagility distributed when FilePath is launched by Java. The warning you are receiving is part of an additional security configuration, most often present on OSX, that warns or refuses to run programs that did not specifically come from the Apple App Store or from Oracle or from some other "App Store" location not previously added into the Java Web Start configuration.
