End-Clinician Reports (ECR)

Overview

Every case in Pathagility WorkPath inherently has one (and only one) end-clinician report (ECR). By default, this ECR is a Pathagility-generated PDF file based on the specific ECR template associated with its case type (which can be one of our standard templates or a custom template designed in collaboration with a customer) and the relevant case data. While the case is open, a dynamic version of the Pathagility-generated PDF is served to an end-user ECR request based on the case data as it existed at the time the request was initiated. Once a case is finalized (cancelled or released), a static version of the Pathagility-generated PDF is served to an end-user ECR request based on the case data as it existed at the time the case was finalized.

While the ECR for a case cannot be deleted, it can be replaced by an uploaded external report, but only if the case is still open and the external report is a PDF file. Once uploaded, this static version of the externally-generated PDF is served to an end-user ECR request regardless of case status or request timing. If such an external report has been uploaded for a case, this will be noted in the Case History section on the information page of the case.

Notes

  • If an uploaded external report needs to be updated, the ‘How-To‘ steps above can be repeated as-needed; the most recently uploaded external report will be treated as the ECR.
  • If an uploaded external report needs to be removed in favor of the Pathagility-generated ECR, send the details (including accession ID) to Pathagility Support.
